Meet The Doctors
Dr. Federico is originally from New Jersey and studied at Fairleigh Dickinson University, graduating with a BS in Biology. He later went on to Sherman College of Chiropractic to achieve his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
After graduating in 1981 from Sherman College, Dr. Federico started his own practice in Red Bank, NJ with his wife.
Dr. Federico and his wife moved to Myrtle Beach in 2019 and now joins us at The Joint Chiropractic where he is able to share is wealth of knowledge and experience in chiropractic in the North Myrtle Beach community. Dr. Federico is also a diehard fan of the Coastal Carolina University football team. Go Chants!
Dr. Kimber Lange comes with a 20 year private practice history from Massachusetts. She graduated from SUNY Albany with a Masters in Social Work. While working as a social worker she was hit by a truck riding her bike. The injuries sustained in that accident led her to Chiropractic as a patient and she’s never looked back. The treatment and healing she received from her Chiropractor drove her to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College.
Dr. Kimber Lange holds the distinguished title as a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. This elite training consists of over 300 post graduate classroom hours plus over 100 hours of on-field experience. In addition Dr. Lange holds a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician certificate which in a pre-requisite for DACBSP and consists of a minimum of 100 hours of post doctorate education in specialized sports medicine.
Dr. Kimber Lange is a lifelong mountaineer who has hiked the highest mountains around the world in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and the United States, and was successful in reaching the summits of Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt. Fujiyama, Mt. Kosciuszko, and Mt Elbrus.
These days she enjoys traveling the Palmetto state getting to know the waterways and trails of South Carolina with her three teenage children.
Dr. Drew Selnes, a native Minnesotan, grew up with a well-known massage therapist. His father’s work made him interested in helping people from an early age. He started his college experience at Normandale for undergraduate studies and went on to receive his Doctorate from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2018.
“My favorite thing about chiropractic is seeing patients progressing from dysfunction to optimization through regular care so they can live their best lives.”
In his free time, Dr. Selnes enjoys painting with Bob Ross and playing his violin. He doesn’t like to admit it, but he is quite the talented violinist.
Dr. Selnes says that he became interested in chiropractic as a teen when he started seeing a chiropractor for headaches. “She completely got rid of them. I decided then that I wanted to change people’s lives like she changed mine.”

If Dr. Selnes could meet with anyone alive or dead, he says there is only one of interest; famous composer, Dimitri Shostakovich. “His music is beautiful in such a sinister way; I would love to find out what devious emotions/thoughts he was experiencing at the time.”
He says the coolest thing he has ever done is driving and hiking through the mountains of Colorado. “It was visually stunning and so peaceful. I would love to go back.”
